Snow angels

This Winter we made dozens
Of snowball cookies, you
Declaring the fresh snow,
"powdered sugar," shoving
Yellow mittens full, into your mouth.

Some mornings, the "destructo monster"
Crumbled them all onto the floor.
You jumped on them, legs and arms flailing-
A snow angel.
